Shield Points
Shield Points show how much Shield a Hero has remaining. Shield works like a barrier against Special Damage(*1) and can be granted to each Hero in a battle.
*1)Special Damage refers to damage dealt by skills that don't depend on either PHY or INT for determining damage output, and it is not affected by Cut Rate. For example、「Damage equal to X% of target's increasing INT」、「Damage equal to X% of your hero's AGI」etc.
About Shield
When a Hero receives damage by skills that don't depend on either PHY or INT for determining damage output, their Shield points decrease by taking the damage instead of their HP.
When a Hero receives damage that exceeds their Shield Points at one time, their HP decreases by the difference.
Shield doesn't work when a Hero receives damage by skills that depend on PHY or INT for determining damage output.
Even if a Hero gets Shield multiple times by skills, they don't gain additional Shield Points each time but have their Shield Points at the moment overwritten(only when they're higher).
Ex.) If a Hero with 300 Shield Points get 400, they will have 400 Shield Points as a result. If their current Shield Points are higher than the ones that they are getting, they won't be overwritten, and there will be no change in points.
Damage caused by abnormal conditions such as Poison or Bleed is not treated as special damage and is not reduced by Shield.
